Powdered Brows, are a semi-permanent eyebrow styling technique that creates a soft shaded brow pencil look. … It is particularly recommended for women with oily skin or combination skin or anyone who fills in their brows regularly with pencil or shadow.

The biggest difference between Microblading and Powder brow techniques is how the pigment is deposited into the skin. Microblading uses a handheld tool to carve small cuts into the skin, whereas Ombre brows are done using a machine. The powder technique is a bit less invasive than that of microblading, and lasts longer.

How long will it last?

The results can last anywhere between 1 - 2 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, age and how often you get touch-ups.

Your skincare routine will also have an effect on the longevity of the pigment. Patients who tan, use chemical peels or products with AHA or Glycolic Acid will fade faster as your skin will resurface faster.

Process

PRE PROCEDURE

Before your procedure we send you an email to prepare you for your session with us. Please review all of the information in the email to ensure you’re prepared for your appointment. Pre procedural preparation is key to a smooth and comfortable session. We request that you do make sure of the following:

No caffeine the morning / day of procedure
No alcohol 48 hours prior to procedure
No blood thinners such as ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aspirin
TYLENOL is accepted but ONLY Tylenol

DURING PROCEDURE

During your procedure we discuss your brow concerns. We go over your ideal brow desires and certain things you’d like to add or change. We then map out your brows using measuring techniques used for symmetry and overall brow shape. Once we agree on the shape you are comfortable with, we recommend a brow shade that would best suit you based on your natural hair color.

You are numbed for 30 minutes with a Topical anesthetic on your brow area. Once numbing cream has kicked in, we then go in with our first pass with a machine. We then add a liquid anesthetic to ensure comfort throughout the entire procedure. We add layers as necessary depending on desired results and skin type.

The entire procedure from start to finish is between 2 hours total.

POST PROCEDURE

Aftercare is a key factor in making sure your pigment stays vibrant and long lasting. You are required to make sure you don’t submerge the brows for the first 7-10 days while healing. Healing process is a noticeable 1 week process, and 4 full weeks of color healing.

We provide you with your aftercare that you will need to reapply for the week following your procedure. All of the necessary post-procedure care is given to each client after they leave our facility for their reference.
